Accuracy and verification
Material claims must be supported by reliable primary documents, direct reporting or multiple credible sources. Names, dates, figures, company identities and quotations are checked before publication. Uncertainty is described plainly.
Independence and conflicts
Editorial coverage is not for sale. Advertising, partnerships and commercial relationships do not determine newsroom conclusions. Writers and editors must disclose material financial or professional conflicts and recuse themselves where necessary.
Attribution and original work
Public Equity writes its own reporting and analysis. Information first reported elsewhere is attributed where appropriate, and source material is linked when it helps readers verify the facts. We do not copy source language or present another publication's reporting as our own.
Artificial intelligence
Automated tools may assist with discovery, transcription, research organisation or drafting. No AI-generated draft is published without human review and approval. Editors remain responsible for verification, sourcing, image rights, framing and the final text.
Corrections
We correct material errors promptly and transparently. To report a possible error, choose “Correction” on our contact form and include the article link and supporting information.
